OT Outdoors and Skill up in Nature

Skill up in Nature is a horticultural group for young people who are struggling to access education, running every Thursday during term time from 10am to 2pm.

Skill up in Nature provides the opportunity to learn practical skills such as growing, woodwork and crafts, whilst developing social and emotional skills through working together and connecting to nature in the beautiful setting of 5 Acre Farm.

‘At Skill up in Nature we help the farm with jobs such as weeding, harvesting and processing flowers, this is great work experience for the young people, and creates a sense of belonging and community . We are also delighted to be involved in caring for the community garden, everyone at Skill up in Nature plays an important part in making this a beautiful space for learning, collaboration and biodiversity.’
